Sky Watch Friday: Moonrise


Canon 40D: 500mm F4/ 1.4 extender

This is a sort of a different take on the sky watch logo with this photograph being taken shortly before sunset, yet the moon was plainly visible.

  18. Remember the first time the astronauts got a good shot of the earth from moon orbit? This reminds me a lot of that shot, only in reverse! Great job, Willard!
