Sky Watch Friday: Moonrise


Canon 40D: 500mm F4/ 1.4 extender

This is a sort of a different take on the sky watch logo with this photograph being taken shortly before sunset, yet the moon was plainly visible.

    I like this shot Willard... it's always a bonus to have the moon still about in the day time.

    This is wonderful! White moon against the blue of the sky! I've got to get a better camera. I can never get a decent pic of the moon.

    Remember the first time the astronauts got a good shot of the earth from moon orbit? This reminds me a lot of that shot, only in reverse! Great job, Willard!
