Visiting ASH

Canon 40D: 28-135 EF

We visited our daughter, Amy over the weekend. On Sunday she took us to a park near Wrightsville, Pa., which overlooks the Susquehanna River. She and her friend, Sandy had visited this park recently and discovered a unique tree at the overlook to the river. It was so windy that it was difficult to concentrate on photography.

Both Amy and Sandy posted pictures of this tree and she insisted that I post my take on the subject as well. It's not what I really wanted, but it's the best I got under the circumstances.

Hey, I like this picture! You made the best out of a difficult day for photography, for sure. I really like how you incorporated the view into the picture along with the tree.

I agree with Amy, sounds like a bad day for photos, but you still found a way to make this cool little tree shine! Thanks for posting it with us!

This tree is amazing! I can almost see a person in there. I sure wouldn't want to be around it on a dark night. lol

It is a nice photo, Willard. I think I saw the tree or one like it the other day.

I really like it. Looks like it's going in the direction of the view.

The tree looks lonely compared to other shots I've seen. :-)

Nice work.
