Winter Dawn

Canon 40D: 70-200mmL

Mornings like this have been all too rare lately. There is snow and sleet in the forecast, and it has already started, so it won't look like this tomorrow morning. Hopefully there will be good photo opportunities for some dramatic winter shots during the storm.

This is such a gorgeous winter shot. I love the tree in the foreground. My Sky Watch is here. Thank you.

I love that. The tree branches seem to beckon the clouds to come closer.

I guess if I wasn´t a bit lazy I could see such a sky also. As to take it's picture, not quite sure. My skills aren´t enough to beat a master like you. Great shot.

A Beautiful shot Willard.....love that the tree is off to the side!
We HAD an ice storm forecast...but it MISSED US! So nothing on the ground this morning. Yippee!

Hope you don't get too much snow/sleet. Drive Safely!

I like the colour in this picture. It is a kind of mysterious... I could not paint this...(watch my SFW for today!)

Nice sunrise shot - we get a lot of sunsets but not as many sunrises it seems. Maybe most Sky Watchers like to sleep late? I know I prefer to do so. :)

That is stunning.

It is a beautiful sky, Willard.

We got a lot of ice or rain on top of a lot of snow and things are really encased in ice here this Saturday morning.

So it takes a lot of seed to feed animals these days and keeps me busy.

I think the colors are perfect and love the tree off to the side framing the photo. I wish I could get up that early on my days off, I am just too lazy I think!
