Nice shots, Willard. I like them both and the cardinal is really neat. I like them almost as much as the males.
I would rather be doing most anything except sitting in the house looking at the sun shine on all this snow. Eating cookies sounds good to me.
I don't know about you, but my head reels with ideas and things I either want to do, should do, or wish I did — that I don't have much time left to do anything but take a nap.

I love the color of the females - and I REALLY love the colors in that rainbow.
Those are two beautiful shots Willard especially the rainbow. They are not easy to get photographs of sometimes.
She may not be as colorful as the male but she still has pretty colors. I also enjoy watch my feathered friends around the house these days.
Thanksfully no voles this year so they only have to compete with the chipmonks.
